Company Building the World's First True AI

to Enhance Global Business Relationships

Artificial Development today announced its formal launch and strategy to develop AI systems and products that can replicate some of the primary characteristics of human intelligence to enable more useful and intelligent computer interfaces. Those characteristics include pattern recognition, verbal and visual communication, knowledge acquisition, and conscious-approximate decision-making capabilities.

The company's technology, CCortex(TM), a 20-billion neuron emulation of the human cortex and peripheral systems, will be able to perform tasks previously unavailable to traditional computing.

"CCortex will recreate the complexity and functionality of those cortical regions that are most likely responsible for processing higher-level functions of human intelligence," said Founder, President and CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  Marcos Guillen. "Our ultimate goal is to deliver a broad range of commercial products that will enhance business relationships on a global scale."

CCortex mimics the structure of the human brain with a layered distribution of neural nets neural nets - artificial neural network  and detailed interconnections, and closely emulates specialized regions of the human cortex, corpus callosum corpus callosum: see brain. , anterior commissure, amygdale a·myg·dale

. The emulation provides feedback and limited interaction with reduced, simplified functional versions of other nervous and sensory systems such as the brainstem, thalamus thalamus (thăl`əməs), mass of nerve cells centrally located in the brain just below the cerebrum and resembling a large egg in size and shape. , cerebellum cerebellum (sĕr'əbĕl`əm), portion of the brain that coordinates movements of voluntary (skeletal) muscles. It contains about half of the brain's neurons, but these particular nerve cells are so small that the cerebellum accounts for , retina and auditory processing systems.

Artificial Development's first generation system will be a limited-capability AI -- a low computing power, simplified version of CCortex that will be capable of replacing existing expert systems, computer user interfaces, and telecommunications Interfaces, and complement most current vehicle interfaces.

The second generation of CCortex, a computing-intensive, full-power version, will provide human-like knowledge and decision-making capabilities on demand and at varying speeds. The technology will have limited cognitive capabilities reserved until now to human brain: advanced pattern recognition, adaptability, learning, and, later, limited speech interaction.

The complete CCortex version will have the potential to permeate most facets of business relationships globally.

"Our mission is to bridge the outer edges of computer science with the inner workings of the human mind to enable more useful and intelligent computer interfaces," said Guillen.
