Article Review What Is SCM?What is your value proposition? What is SCM?Nowadays, supply chains are viewed as the proper combination of physical, financial, informational, and relational resources. According to Joseph Schumpeter's classic book, Capitalism, Socialism and Democracy, written in 1949: "The opening up of new markets, foreign or domestic, and the organizational development from the craft shop and factory to such concerns as US Steel illustrate the same process of industrial mutation - if I may use that biological term - that incessantly revolutionizes the economic structure from within, incessantly destroying the old one, incessantly creating a new one. This process of Creative Destruction is the essential fact about capitalism. It is what capitalism consists in and what every capitalist concern has got to live in". What is value proposition? Value proposition is what the entity (business or individual) brings to the table. For example, the value proposition of McDonalds is a clean, inexpensive, and convenient place to get fast food.
