Article Marketing and Your Blog for TrafficArticle Marketing and Your Blog For Traffic Article marketing has been around for a number of years and is still a favorite amongst Internet marketers. To be quite honest, I have not had much success with it and have resulted to using free online classified ads as a ay to get traffic and gain backlinks. The only problem with free classified ads is that the traffic is not permanent, as most of the ads expire and the backlinks are then erased. But if you want quick traffic online, then this would be a really good option.Article marketing is still kicking, but you would need to submit different links in the resource box each time you submit an article. "This is if you participate in bum marketing". Bum marketing is still effective and is a whole lot easier than writing 50 articles and submitting them to different directories, when you can write one and submit them. I have found out something crazy about blogs and Internet marketing. Not matter how much you update your blog on a regular basis, your backlinks will mean nothing unless you do both; you will need to update your backlinks on a daily basis AND your content. Seems like a lot of work doesn''t it? Well, I have come up with a simpler solution and just gave it a try yesterday. First, I chose a high page rank article directory that publishes your article in less than a day. Then I checked to make sure they were ''dofollow''. A nofollow link will do you no good when trying to get a little PR juice. Then, I wrote ten good articles and submitted them to this one article directory. But, not before I submitted them to my own site. Many Internet marketers forget to use their own site for submitting their articles to because they are afraid they will be hit with a duplicate content penalty. I got news for you guys!!; There is not such thing as a duplicate content penalty. If that were true, every website in the search engines would be banned and have low rankings. Instead of penalizing your site, Google just de-index all articles except the original article that was published first. In some cases, Google will mistakenly claim a website to be the original author when you are the original author of the article. This happens when a site that has higher page rank than you steals your content. The search engines then crawls that site first because the robots always crawl sites with high page rank first. Since that means the article can get indexed before yours does, then you are not seen as the original author. yeah, I know that is not fair, but this is something Google will have to work out. But, you can get your articles on your own blog indexed rather quickly no matter what your website page ranking is. First, write the blog post and between each post, ping it to Pingoat first, then ping it again to Pingler. You will see your blog post indexed in less than a couple of hours! This can protect you from others stealing your content and claiming themselves as the rightful owner. After you write those articles on your own blog, then submit them to the article directories. How come you shouldn''t benefit as well? This is also helpful because you are about to kill two birds with one stone. In order to increase your page ranking rather quickly, you should always get backlinks for each blog post your write. What you will do is pick two article directories and add all the blog post urls into the resource box of the article. This will allow you to not write so many articles. Most article directories allow up to 3 links in the resource box. Just make sure to not go over 35 backlinks in one day, as this can be seen as spam. You will only need to write about 10 articles to do this which is rather easy. Just right about anything you want. In less than two days, you should start to see yourself getting more traffic and higher page rankings. Just remember to never stop doing this and building your backlinks, as your page rank can quickly fall off. You can thank this on the high number of competition within the search engines.
