) announced today that it will present a live surgical demonstration and collection of workshops and lectures from May 27 - 31 at this year's 6th Biennial ISAKOS ISAKOS International Society of Arthroscopy, Knee Surgery, and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine  Congress, in Florence, Italy.

Arthroscopy is the examination of a joint, specifically, the inside structures. The procedure is performed by inserting a specifically designed illuminated device into the joint through a small incision.
, the ISAKOS (International Society of Arthroscopy, Knee Surgery and Orthopedic Sports Medicine) Congress in its sixth year has fast become one of the preeminent gatherings of surgeons internationally.

Among the anticipated highlights of this year's Congress is the scheduled May 28th live surgical demonstration of ArthroCare's OPUS[R] System that makes minimally invasive labrum labrum /la·brum/ (la´brum) pl. la´bra   [L.] an edge, rim, or lip.

Tasto, Spahn and Andre Weimann, MD of Germany will also be presenting a series of lectures throughout the week focused on ArthroCare technologies.
