The company's Spinal Surgery System was introduced in Europe on September 7, 1999 and ArthroCare plans an immediate launch of the Spinal Surgery System in the United States United States, officially United States of America, republic (2005 est. pop. 295,734,000), 3,539,227 sq mi (9,166,598 sq km), North America. A specialized spinal surgery sales force is in place, with a network of over 200 sales professionals at 36 distributors covering virtually the entire country.
