ArthroCare Corp. files registration statement for initial public offering.

) announced today that yesterday it filed a registration statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission for an initial public offering of 2,000,000 shares of common stock.

The offering price is expected to be between $11 and $13 per share. All of the shares are being sold by ArthroCare Corp. The offering will be managed by Robertson, Stephens & Co., L.P., and Volpe, Welty & Co.
