ArthroCare Appoints Vice President of Finance and Administration.


SUNNYVALE, Calif. -- Michael Gluk Brings Significant Financial Experience in Controllership, Treasury and Business Development to ArthroCare

), a multi-business medical device company that develops minimally invasive surgical products, announced today it has appointed Michael Gluk vice president of finance and administration.

Mr. Gluk brings significant financial experience in controllership, treasury and business development to ArthroCare from his previous positions with General Motors Corp., which spanned 20 years. He will report directly to the company's chief financial officer and will oversee ArthroCare's investor relations Investor relations

Most recently, Mr. Gluk served as general director of business planning and analysis for General Motors where he was responsible for financial reporting and analysis in support of its Automotive Strategy Board and Corporate Board of Directors. In addition, Mr. Gluk has held controller and treasury positions with General Motors in Brazil and Sweden.
