Since 1984, she has practiced as a transactional attorney, representing businesses and individuals, in areas of corporate and business law, including the medical device, professional medical services and healthcare delivery systems sectors. With broad knowledge in healthcare law and general business transactions, Ms. Kelly formerly practiced as Special Counsel with the San Diego law firms of Gray, Cary, Ware & Fredenrich and Luce Forward Hamilton & Scripps and formerly served as Assistant General Counsel for Scripps Health. Ms. Kelly is published and lectures in the areas of general business, nonprofit law and health care law and is a member of the American Bar Association American Bar Association (ABA), voluntary organization of lawyers admitted to the bar of any state. Founded (1878) largely through the efforts of the Connecticut Bar Association, it is devoted to improving the administration of justice, seeking uniformity of law , the San Diego County Bar Association, San Diego Lawyers Club, and the Association of Corporate Counsel.
