Artes Medical recently received an approvable letter from the FDA for ArteFill.

Reinhard brings ten years of biotechnology executive leadership to the Artes Medical Board. [1] For graduate studies, most of UCSD's Ph.D.  to develop non-surgical cardiovascular gene therapeutics. Reinhard steered Collateral through a strategic partnership with pharmaceutical company Schering AG and an initial public offering in 1998. When Collateral successfully completed early clinical studies and was acquired by Schering AG in 2002, Reinhard became the company's Chief Executive Officer. Prior to founding Collateral, Reinhard was a merchant banking and venture investment executive and an executive officer of the Henley Group, Fisher Scientific and Imed Corporation. ArteFill has received an approvable letter from the FDA, following successful completion of company-sponsored U.S. clinical trials.
