Artera Group, Inc., a subsidiary of NCT Group, Inc. (OTCBB: NCTI), today announced that they have obtained the exclusive right to distribute the Spider-Man(TM)-branded version of the Artera Turbo(TM) Web Accelerator from Filtered Internet Solutions, Inc. ("FIS"), Pittsford, New York, the product's developer and worldwide licensee of Marvel Enterprises, Inc. and Marvel Characters, Inc., for Internet Security products and services. The product, which is being demonstrated at ISPCON Spring 2004 in Washington, DC today through Friday, will initially be available through Your Net Plus (www.yournetplus.com), an Artera Turbo wholesaler and one of the nation's largest Internet aggregators. In addition to Spider-Man(TM), Artera has rights to the Incredible Hulk(TM) and X-Men(TM) brands, also under an agreement with Filtered Internet Solutions, Inc.

Subscribers to the Spider-Man(TM)-branded product will receive a free downloadable Spider-Man(TM) full color encyclopedia, a 26-page history of Spider-Man(TM). Additional free accessories are contemplated.

Artera Turbo is a subscription-based service that uses a series of optimization technologies to increase browsing speeds over any Internet connection, including a standard dial-up line. This product not only optimizes http-based email such as Hotmail and Yahoo but all email protocols including those used in Microsoft Outlook(R), Microsoft Outlook Express(R) and Netscape(R) Mail (POP3, SMTP, IMAP). Speed improvements are most dramatic on emails with large attachments. Additionally, Artera Turbo 3.1 accelerates Native File Transfer Protocol (FTP) uploads and downloads.

An excellent feature for resellers is automatic updating. Once the software is installed, it prompts users to available updates. ISPs and other resellers do not have a cumbersome upgrade process to manage with each new version.

Artera Turbo also includes an ultra-secure firewall and supports both "White lists" and "Black lists" for parental control. Parents can choose either a "walled garden" approach where they simply create a list of all sites their children can visit or they can take the opposite approach and create a list of restricted sites that they do not want their children to access.
