Artech Information Systems, L.L.C. Named Winner of Department of Defense Nunn Perry Award.


MORRISTOWN, N.J. -- Artech Information Systems, L.L.C., a leading provider of project management and software consulting services globally, has been named a 2005 Mentor-Protege Nunn Perry award winner by the Department of Defense (DoD). The annual award recognizes successes for both Mentor and Protege companies that achieve cost efficiencies, enhance technical capabilities, and increase small business opportunities for DoD prime contracts and subcontracts.

The mentor-protege team of Artech and Booz Allen Hamilton Booz Allen Hamilton, Inc., referred to as Booz Allen is one of the oldest strategy consulting firms in the world.[1] The firm formerly had two consulting divisions: WCB (Worldwide Commercial Business, also known as “The Commercial Side”) and WTB , sponsored by the Defense Information Systems Agency, was presented the award at the 2005 Mentor-Protege Conference held March 15th through March 17th in Orlando, Florida The city of Orlando is a major city in central Florida and is the county seat of Orange County, Florida. The Mentor-Protege program is the Federal government's leading program for fostering small business growth by teaming small, high potential firms as the protege, with large firms as the mentor who are successful government or commercial prime contractors or subcontractors.

Since the inception of Artech's mentor-protege agreement with Booz Allen Hamilton in 2001, Artech has increased its employee base by 435% and more than doubled its revenues.
