 Art 2: A Graphics Competition slated for February 2004. The competition is a collaboration between artLink (www.artlinksteamboat.org) and Ride Snowboards and is focused on recognizing design talent worldwide.

The grand prize design will be printed on five limited-edition Ride snowboards. The grand prize winner will receive a $1,000 cash prize and have the winning design printed on his or her own limited-edition Ride snowboard. The remaining four boards will be used for fundraising purposes for the Surfrider Foundation's Snowrider Project, a national outreach program that seeks to educate snow-sport enthusiasts and alpine communities on the interrelationship in·ter·re·late

The international competition is open to all artists working in any two-dimensional medium designed to fit the official snowboard template (1) A pre-designed document or data file formatted for common purposes such as a fax, invoice or business letter. If the document contains an automated process, such as a word processing macro or spreadsheet formula, then the programming is already written and embedded in the .
