Based on the results from the ArtGalleryLive.com member survey, the in-house team completely redesigned and rebuilt the web site, which was launched June 18th, 2000. The first two months of site activity indicate a major success. Site traffic has increased with over two million hits and over 100,000 user sessions A count of how many times all users access a Web site regardless whether the same person came back several times during the measurement period. The most significant improvement has been time users spent on the site, increasing from 70 seconds on the previous site to over eight minutes on the new site.

In addition to the design changes, ArtGalleryLive.com is closely monitoring the sales of the more affordable framed prints, which were added to the new web site as part of a partnership with a Kentucky-based art distributor. The framed product includes hundreds of popular consumer prints by recognized artists including Picasso, Monet, Dali, and Van Gogh.
