Human beings are thought to be the only living creatures that reflect upon the past and give importance to their memories. The expression and preservation of personal memories and memorials to others are manifest in written autobiographies and biographies and autobiographical works of art. Memories of others encompass a wide range of memorials, often expressed through public works public works

Another artist who painted from personal experience who older students could explore is the Mexican painter Frida Kahlo Frida Kahlo[1](July 6, 1907 – July 13, 1954) was a Mexican painter, who has achieved great international popularity. She painted using vibrant colors in a style that was influenced by indigenous cultures of Mexico as well as European influences that include .
