Vacek brings to Art.com experience in marketing programs and strategy development with a range of technology and consumer focused companies.

Vacek, who comes to Art.com from her previous post as Director of Marketing at Home Director, an IBM home networking spin-off, will build on the company's highly successful sales and marketing programs. At Home Director, Vacek oversaw all marketing activities, and was instrumental in implementing a marketing plan focused on return on investment, achieving a 75 percent reduction in marketing expenses while maintaining sales growth. Prior to joining Home Director, she was Program Manager for Partner Marketing at Red Hat, executing marketing plans with Oracle, IBM, and Dell, and was responsible for creating a company-wide branding assessment. Prior to joining Red Hat, Vacek held engineering and marketing positions of increasing responsibility over eight years at IBM.
