Kimberly got the idea after her school held a similar fundraising event: "I thought this would be a great way to raise money for children with cancer." With donations for the artwork ranging from $25 to $1,000, she has already raised almost $10,000! The students who contribute artwork get something out of it, too. "It gives them a sense of helping others, and it helps them connect to a charity," Kimberly says. She plans to expand her program to as many schools as possible ... so it might be coming to a school near you!
