Inspired by her favorite artist, Vincent van Gogh, founder Lynn Toomey coined the name Art to Gogh after originally calling her service, the Craft Caravan. The service is a spin off from the art studio Toomey founded with her husband (www.artzzone.com). Toomey was asked to run a craft class at a local recreation program. This gave Toomey the idea to start a studio on wheels. Within a few months, she was hosting parties, classes and company outings. Shortly thereafter, she received a Boston Parent's Paper "Best of the Best" award for birthday parties. In mid-2006, Toomey re-structured and re-branded the service, aptly naming it Art to Gogh.
