Art and wine set weekend up just fine.

Byline: BUZZWORTHY The Register-Guard

Boy, we don't know Don't know (DK, DKed)

"Don't know the trade." A Street expression used whenever one party lacks knowledge of a trade or receives conflicting instructions from the other party.
if our staff spent too much time on Willie Nelson's tour bus or what, but we actually have an interview with a tub of ice cream in this issue.

That's just wild.

Not that we really need to write about Willie Nelson. He's having a show at the Cuthbert today, and you're either in or you're out - although we've heard from little birds that some people plan to listen from the parking lot because the $39 to $64 ticket price is too high.

Come on, can anything be too high to see a living legend Living Legend may refer to:
  • Living Legend, a tourist attraction on Jersey
  • Library of Congress Living Legend, an award
  • The Living Legend, an episode of Battlestar Galactica.
?

It's also time for Art & the Vineyard. Last year, the festival was a five-day blowout because July 4 fell on a Tuesday. This year, the event is three days on the weekend, where it belongs - although festivalgoers got primed at Alton Baker with Wednesday's Freedom Festival.

Go to Alton Baker Park Alton Baker Park is located in Eugene, Oregon, United States, near Autzen Stadium. It features duck ponds, bicycle trails, and a dog park, and directly touches the Ferry Street Bridge.  to find stuff for your garden, wine to consume on the spot, wine to take home in boxes, art to wear, art to hang, children's activities and lots of music. It's a fine event for a fine cause - that would be the Maude Kerns Maude Irvine Kerns (1879 – 1965) was an American artist. Kerns was born in 1879 in Portland, Oregon, where she was raised by her pioneer parents. After high school, she graduated from the University of Oregon, the California School of Fine Arts and later Columbia University,  Art Center, if you didn't know.

Too bad Art & the Vineyard and the First Friday Art Walk are at the same time today. It's possible to do both, but you probably would miss tonight's festival headliners, the Dennis Mitchell Band.

The Oregon Bach Festival The Oregon Bach Festival is an annual celebration of the works of Johann Sebastian Bach, held in Eugene, Oregon in late June and early July. It was co-founded by German conductor Helmuth Rilling and the former president of the American Choral Directors Association, Royce Saltzman,  continues today with Franz Joseph Haydn's Mass for Theresa, Part II at the Hult Center and organist Barbara Baird at First Congregational Church First Congregational Church may refer to:
  • First Congregational Church (Porterville, California)
  • First Congregational Church (Colorado Springs, Colorado)
  • First Congregational Church (Denver, Colorado)
  • First Congregational Church (Manitou Springs, Colorado)
, among other events.

If high quality blues and a small ticket price is your bag, check out John Nemeth and his band at Mac's tonight. He's only 31, but he already sounds pretty good.

Finally, the second annual Tayberry Tayberry is a cultivated shrub of the family rosaceae bred in 1962 from a cross between the Blackberry and the Raspberry at the Scottish Crops Research Institute, Invergowrie, Scotland by David Jennings and David Mason.  Jam is Saturday. This year's theme is "Reggae on the Mountain." You'll probably want to call the number in the calendar to get directions, because the event is in Saginaw, a bit off the beaten path.
