Art Works.

ART WORKS. Produced by Harcourt Brace, Orlando, Florida 32887.

Art Works is an appropriate label for this program. Each large box contains items dedicated to a particular elementary grade level which include a teacher's manual, a teacher's resource binder, 30 overhead transparencies, 30 student art cards, 2 or 3 posters, and 6 portrait prints of featured artists. Each box also contains a poster activity sheet, a fine art time line, 60 fine art time line cards, a videocassette, and an audiocassette of music related to the grade level materials.

The complete lists of components and materials needed for each lesson and the thematic grouping of the lessons are intended to make Unit Openers a time-saving resource that excite students, enhance accuracy of the information contained in the lessons, and spark student interest. The reproductions are well produced on heavy cardboard, and the quality of the other components are equally high and durable. For more information, write the producers.
