Art Technology Group Names Pat O'Neill as Vice President of Human Resources.

Art Technology Group, Inc. ("ATG") (Nasdaq:ARTG) today announced the appointment of Ms. Pat O'Neill as vice president of human resources. Ms. O'Neill joins ATG at a critical time in the company's development.

Capitalizing on her more than 20 years of senior management experience in human resources, Ms. O'Neill will ensure the company's rapid growth through her integration of strategic perspectives in building on ATG's open, creative working environment. Within the capacity of vice president of human resources, Ms. O'Neill is specifically charged with overseeing all aspects of orientation and human development training functions for ATG and managing HR's involvement during evaluation, negotiation and assimilation of M&A activities.

Prior to her appointment at ATG, Ms. O'Neill served as senior vice president of human resource development at First Data Investor Services Group and was responsible for design and delivery of all human resource services and products to a 3200-employee ($400 Million) division of First Data Corporation. Ms. O'Neill has a strong international background with significant involvement in acquisitions. As human resources director of corporate marketing at Prime/Computervision, she supervised all HR initiatives for Swiss, Canadian and Hong Kong- based acquisitions from due diligence to assimilation.
