Art Street Interactive Customizes Reservations Management; CAMAVA Provides Integrated Online and Call Center Functionality.

SAN DIEGO -- Art Street Interactive ("ASI"), an online application development firm specializing in custom reservation/ecommerce systems, today announced it has launched CAMAVA, its online destination management product, at several campgrounds and hospitality venues, including the County of San Diego Department of Parks and Recreation, Riverside County Regional Park, National Park Service Cumberland Island National Seashore, and the Midway Aircraft Carrier Museum. In addition to being the most customizable reservation system on the market, CAMAVA is designed to integrate with popular Windows-based reservation systems, making the implementation process seamless; it adapts perfectly to the unique processes and routines of each client. Similar to Riverside, the National Park Service of Cumberland Island National Seashore in St. Mary's, Georgia will be launching its new reservation system utilizing CAMAVA for five campgrounds and several departing/returning ferries. Cumberland's system required an extremely tailored backend to meet its unique requirements. "Converting our reservation system from a small phone-in call center and PC-based operation to the new Internet-based system will eliminate significant wait time and improve customer satisfaction for over 47,000 visitors per year," said Dennis Parsons, Chief Ranger, Cumberland Island National Seashore.

"Most reservation management software, especially the larger systems, attempt to accommodate every possible configuration and sales scenario, but just ends up being complex," explains Greg Hechler, ASI's applications director. We start our clients with a core set of reservation, management and reporting features, then build in specifically what they want, quickly and efficiently; even large counties can be customized in four to six weeks."
