Over a lively musical soundtrack, the artists describe the parameters of their professions--how they prepared for their specific art careers, what they do, and how they do it. They share photos from childhood and adolescence as the video images move between the earnest speaker, videos of them at work, and related still photographs. From archaeologist to children's book illustrator, the 18 artists represent an excellent cross-section of profession, ethnicity ethnicity Vox populi Racial status–ie, African American, Asian, Caucasian, Hispanic , and gender.
