For art objects, see work of art. ArtWorks is an advanced vector drawing package for RISC OS created by Computer Concepts (now Xara) in 1991. It has been developed by MW Software since 1996. by the best illustrators in the land are on show on Tyneside. The exhibition by The Association of Illustrators is visiting Gateshead and will showcase 80 original UK artworks. The exhibition, at Gateshead Central Library, on Prince Consort Road, runs until April 9. This Saturday, Newcastle-based illustrator Bethan Laker lak·er n. 1. A fish, such as the lake trout, that lives in a lake. 2. A ship used on lakes. will help nine to 12-year-olds create their own work. No experience is required and all materials are provided.
