Members of the guild, which represents music societies and theatre groups in the area, had been using a shed behind a scout hut in Park Road, Bedworth. But when the firebugs struck they caused thousands of pounds' damage to the equipment - and left the group with nowhere to store what they had salvaged. Bedworth Theatre Guild committee member Mike Inker condemned those behind the attack and is now struggling to find a new storage area. He said: "I feel pretty sick that people can so this sort of thing in this day and age - they just can't leave alone. "The fire has destroyed one end of the shed and there's a huge hole at the back of the hut. "The building is not usable any more and we've got nowhere else to go. Despite some props being destroyed, no shows are being can - celled because of the blaze, but in future much of the remaining equipment will have to be shared between the member groups. The lost equipment will cost thousands to replace as the guild was not insured. Mr Inker said: "What was in there was of no value to anyone else except those who do stage productions. "I really could not put a value on it. A lot of props had been gathered from people over the years, and there was stuff people had made, but it would take a fair amount of money to replace. "Some stuff is salvageable sal·vage n. 1. a. The rescue of a ship, its crew, or its cargo from fire or shipwreck. b. The ship, crew, or cargo so rescued. c.
