Arson leads to regeneration call.


AN ARSON arson, at common law, the malicious and willful burning of the house of another. Originally, it was an offense against the security of habitation rather than against property rights.  attack on a flat above an empty shop in Far Gosford Street last week has prompted fresh calls for the whole area to undergo regeneration.

"We have asked for a further meeting with Coventry's development director and cabinet member for renewal."
