Arson lad gets 3yrs.

AN arsonist aged 13 was locked up for three years yesterday after admitting burning down a family business "for a laugh".

The judge ruled Christopher Hart could be named after the court heard he had already been convicted of nine offences.

The teenager set fire to Furniture Centre in St Helens, Merseyside, because he was bored. He broke in when owner Ian Parry was on holiday, causing pounds 250,000 damage. A petrol can was found inside.

Judge Mark Brown at Liverpool crown court told Hart: "What you did was wicked - 32 years of work was destroyed."
