PLEASANTON, Calif. -- Arroyo Video Solutions, Inc., creator of an innovative software infrastructure that powers the world of personalized television, today announced that it will demonstrate for the first time its comprehensive on demand services solution for IPTV (Internet Protocol TV) Also called "TV over IP," IPTV delivers scheduled TV programs and video-on-demand (VOD) via the IP protocol and digital streaming techniques used to watch video on the Internet.  at this week's TelcoTV Conference & Expo in San Diego, Calif., November 9-10, in booth #413.

Arroyo's demonstrations at TelcoTV will show:

--Video on demand using the H.264 (MPEG-4 AVC) codec (1) (enCOder/DECoder) A hardware circuit that performs analog-to-digital conversion (ADC) and digital-to-analog (DAC) conversion. Starting with a single open architecture server that is economical for even the smallest market, Arroyo OnDemand easily grows to offer industry leading density and scalability, as well as Arroyo's unique assurance of "Always ON," non-stop reliability.

--Advanced IPTV applications, including network PVR See DVR.  (nPVR) and addressable Reachable. When something is addressable, it can be identified and manipulated independently of its surroundings. For example, screen pixels and RAM memory are addressable. Each of the screen's picture elements can be individually turned on and off, and each of the memory's bytes can be  advertising, which will differentiate IPTV offerings and maximize ARPU (Average Revenue Per User) A calculation often used to determine the overall value of an application. It is also used to rate particular customers, especially in the wireless space, by comparing someone's account to the overall average. .

It's clear that success in this market depends on the selection, packaging, and delivery of attractive content.
