The metro MeshAP 3100 has a super fast backbone and uses 802.11g as a client connection and dual 802.11a wireless technology as a backhaul connection between mesh access points, providing a dependable, scalable and easy to use city-wide network.

Attendees are invited to view how the software interface of each unit works and witness just how simple it is to manage ArrowSpan's Wi-Fi mesh network A communications network in which there are at least two pathways to each node. If one of the paths fails, the other is still available.

A "fully meshed" network means that every node has a direct connection to every other node, which is a very elaborate and expensive architecture.
. Attendees stopping by ArrowSpan's booth will also have the chance to enter a drawing to win an iPOD Nano A flash-based digital music player from Apple, introduced in 2005. Like larger iPod models, the nano has a color screen. Although the nano name suggests ultra-small "nanotechnology," the iPod shuffle is actually smaller. See iPod. .
