Arrow Engine Company Announces Acquisition of Haun Industries.

TULSA, Okla. -- Arrow Engine Co., a leading manufacturer of industrial engines and engine parts serving the oil and gas industry since 1955, recently announced the purchase of Haun Industries of Sugar Land, Texas. Haun is an aftermarket parts distributor for industrial engine parts. Its operations have recently been relocated to the Tulsa, Okla. corporate facility.

Haun is a 14-year-old manufacturer of engine replacement parts with an extensive customer base and a specialized niche in the oil and natural gas marketplace. With this acquisition, Arrow has gained market share and increased its offerings.

"The addition of the Haun line of parts gives Arrow the ability to offer a wider variety of quality engine parts, enhance our level of customer service, expand our customer base and provide increased employee and customer opportunities to grow the business to a new level," said Len Turner, President and CEO of Arrow Engine Co. "We have positioned ourselves to be fluid, flexible and scaleable to maintain profitability throughout the various cycles of the oil industry."

Arrow is the OEM of four premiere engine lines, and is the only manufacturer in the industry of the slow speed single cylinder C-Series power units, which have been running consistently in oilfields throughout the world for the past 70 years. The company also provides a wide variety of engine replacement parts and engine accessory products, as well as two, four and six cylinder engines, generator sets and chemical injector pumps for the oil and gas industry and other industrial engine markets.

"It is very exciting to pick up three complete new lines of engine replacement parts for established companies like Waukesha, Gemini, and Caterpillar," Turner said. "This is another step in our commitment to provide first-class customer service, technology and continued growth."

Arrow's addition of three new product lines was a key in the acquisition. Although not directly associated with Waukesha, Gemini, or Caterpillar, the addition of the Haun engine replacement parts to Arrow's product offering further expands our ability to meet customer needs and expectations.

Arrow Engine Co. is a part of the Industrial Specialties group formed by TriMas Corp., which is headquartered in Bloomfield Hills, Mich. TriMas takes in annual revenues in excess of $730 million. The company currently has 4,000 employees in 56 facilities located in 10 countries.
