Arrow Electronics and BakBone Announce Distribution Agreement.

SAN DIEGO & ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- BakBone Software (TSX:BKB) (OTCBB:BKBOF) announced today that the Enterprise Storage Solutions division of Arrow Electronics, Inc. (NYSE:ARW) has signed a wide-ranging agreement to distribute and support BakBone's award-wining NetVault data protection software products and services.

The agreement covers all markets in North America giving BakBone's resellers a new level of support in the form of technical, sales, marketing, financing, certification and training services. In addition, NetVault is available in Arrow's two enterprise solutions labs where it can be tested and demonstrated by resellers and their end-users. The relationship also gives BakBone access to a new community of storage resellers who fit the company's ideal channel partner profile, which includes having a strong storage practice focused on data migration, storage and server consolidation, disaster recovery or business continuity planning.

Specifically, Arrow's elite group of NetApp resellers are also a strong draw for BakBone in terms of expanding its channel, because BakBone offers modules that directly interface with NetApp products and integrate seamlessly into NetApp environments.
