), today announced immediate availability of the newest line of CLARiiON CX and NS700 networked storage systems from EMC Corporation.

"The performance and upgrade compatibility of these systems offers resellers a great opportunity to close new business and support their installed base customers," said Lance Sedlak, director of marketing, Enterprise Storage Solutions. "We have already integrated the new systems in our Enterprise Solutions Labs and we'll be conducting a series of reseller training and launch support events starting today. Combined, the new systems and Arrow's support services support services Psychology Non-health care-related ancillary services–eg, transportation, financial aid, support groups, homemaker services, respite services, and other services  gives Arrow resellers broader capabilities to win in the mid-tier market."

Located in Atlanta and Minneapolis, the Arrow labs allow solution providers the ability to replicate an end customers' IT environment for training or proof-of-concept testing, which helps solution providers and their customers make the best purchasing decision for their businesses.

Arrow resellers may work with the new systems in person or remotely using Arrow's Lab Bridge support service. Lab Bridge offers Internet-based conferencing with integrated data and audio in an interactive environment, allowing products like the new CLARiiON CX and NS700 series to be tested remotely from any reseller or end-user location.

The next-generation line is made up of the CLARiiON CX300, CX500 and CX700 arrays, designed to increase levels of performance and data protection in the mid-tier market. The line is the next generation for the CLARiiON CX200, CX400 and CX600 series, which has been a popular line with Arrow resellers since entering the market in 2002.

The CLARiiON CX300 is EMC's newest entry-level array. Designed for workgroup implementations, the CX300 works on UNIX UNIX

Operating system for digital computers, developed by Ken Thompson of Bell Laboratories in 1969. It was initially designed for a single user (the name was a pun on the earlier operating system Multics).
, Windows or Linux platforms, and supports local replications via EMC's SnapView software. The CX500 doubles the performance of the previous CX400 model and is ideal for departments requiring both local and remote replications. And the new CX700 is a robust data center array that can be scaled to accommodate up to 240 drives.

The NS700 Series, based on the new CLARiiON CX platform, offers customers more flexibility than ever before through higher performance, support for larger configurations, and superior business continuity. The NS700 is the only integrated NAS (1) See network access server.

(2) (Network Attached Storage) A specialized file server that connects to the network. A NAS device contains a slimmed-down operating system and a file system and processes only I/O requests by supporting the popular
 product that protects customer investment by offering an upgrade path to a gateway configuration. The NS700 product line includes both gateway and integrated network attached storage (NAS) offerings. The NS700 and NS700G are available in single or dual data-mover configurations and support both fibre Channel and ATA (1) (AT Attachment) The specification for IDE drives. See IDE.
