Arrow Electronics Launches New Business to Help VARs Deliver Global Financial Solutions.

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- The North American Computer Products group of Arrow Electronics (NYSE: ARW) announced today that Arrow VARs can now deliver leasing solutions to their end-user customers through a new financial vehicle, Arrow Electronics Global Financial Solutions.

Arrow Electronics Global Financial Solutions will be the primary leasing program available to VARs working with Arrow's MOCA and Enterprise Storage Solutions divisions, yet is available to VARs doing business with any of Arrow's enterprise computing divisions.

"Arrow Electronics Global Financial Solutions will allow many of our resellers to extend their reach with their own customers and give them a trusted financial partner to complete their solution offering," said Mike Long, president, Arrow North American Computer Products. "Our resellers already have firsthand experience with Arrow's financial strength and partner-centric approach. They won't have to test their confidence when tapping into our new financial solutions offering as they would with an unfamiliar lessor."

When VARs finance a customer through Arrow Electronics Global Financial Solutions, they will earn a fee based upon the leasing program that the VAR sells. Fees will be paid on fair market value leases as well as dollar buyout contracts. Fees will be calculated on new financing regardless of hardware brand and will include software and services. This sets Arrow Electronics Global Financial Solutions apart from many leasing programs that do not calculate fees on all product categories.

Arrow will also work with VARs on portfolio management to help VARs optimize their revenue opportunities by advising them on the right time to revisit a customer with leasing options.

Arrow is rolling out Arrow Electronics Global Financial Solutions to VARs in a comprehensive package that includes sales collateral for both VARs and end-users, as well as an upcoming series of webinars designed to educate VARs on the offering and how to market it to end-users.
