Arrow Electronics Launches Government Central.

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- The North American Computer Products group of Arrow Electronics, Inc. (NYSE:ARW), a leading distributor of enterprise and embedded computing systems to resellers and OEM customers in North America, announced today Government Central, a comprehensive program designed to provide support to Arrow partners that are focused on developing federal, state, local and education business opportunities.

Arrow Government Central expands Arrow's support for its government-focused partners by providing more dedicated personnel and government-specific resources to span all four of Arrow Enterprise Computing Solutions (ECS) selling divisions. This more encompassing approach enables Arrow to leverage divisional best practices and more effectively extend services and support to its partners.

Additionally, Arrow has expanded its relationship with INPUT, a market intelligence firm that helps companies successfully compete in the government arena. Arrow will introduce the Government Central website in the fourth quarter of this year. The website will provide partners with information designed to keep them informed about the latest government-related trends to help them grow their federal, state, local and education revenues.
