Arrow Electronics Introduces ProSeed to Help New Network Appliance Solution Providers Sell More Effectively, Faster.

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- Enterprise Storage Solutions, a division of the North American Computer Products group of Arrow Electronics, Inc. (NYSE: ARW), has introduced ProSeed, a seed-funding program designed to provide additional sales and marketing resources to select Network Appliance resellers. The ProSeed Program aims to help new resellers become effective channel partners with NetApp(R) at an accelerated rate for faster time to revenue with NetApp enterprise storage solutions.

Arrow's ProSeed Program provides funding for select NetApp resellers to invest in either product and solution training or demand generation marketing initiatives for NetApp storage solutions. By providing this financial support, Arrow is giving its NetApp resellers access to resources that should enhance their sales effectiveness and increase the likelihood for long-term success.

"We were one of the first resellers to participate in this program and have found the additional resources to be extremely helpful in getting our sales efforts for NetApp off the ground quickly," said Michael Lewis, president and CEO, eLinear Solutions (AMEX:ELU). "We chose to invest our seed money in demand generation marketing initiatives which resulted in increased sales leads that ultimately helped us to close more deals faster."

In order to be eligible for the ProSeed program, resellers must not have had any prior experience selling NetApp and must have joined the NetApp VIP Program within the past six months. In addition, participants must use the ProSeed funds within six months of being selected, have an approved marketing plan, and submit names and deadlines of staff who will obtain NetApp educational training and certification. NetApp resellers that meet these criteria may contact their Arrow sales representative if they are interested in being considered for the ProSeed Program.
