Arrow Electronics Helps HP Resellers Boost Revenues With HP Services Workshops.

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- The SBM Division of Arrow Electronics, Inc. (NYSE: ARW), one of the largest value-added distributors of HP enterprise products and integration services, today announced a series of August workshops designed to help resellers learn how they can profitably add more than 80 HP services to their portfolio of offerings.

Through these workshops, Arrow's SBM Division and HP will demonstrate how resellers can complement their current services offerings with HP Consulting & Integration Express Services to their product sales. HP will make available, for the first time through distribution, professional services ranging from Oracle configuration and planning to firewall functionality assessments, which can be sold by the reseller and delivered by HP.

As a significant part of the workshops, Arrow will provide hands-on marketing training for resellers specific to professional services. As a result, workshop participants will have access to an array of customized marketing solutions, each focused on a key business driver for end-users. These ready-to-execute solutions are the latest offerings from Arrow's Marketing Support Services, which enhance and support resellers' marketing efforts.

"The workshops will offer a unique opportunity for resellers to interact with HP experts and discuss how they can profit from Express Services, as well as learn strategies for incorporating Express Services into their own best practices and sales models," said Michael Haley, vice president, SBM Division. The workshops are open to all Arrow resellers. This includes resellers enrolled in either the HP ASSP (Authorized Solution Sales Partner) or HP ABSP (Authorized Business Solution Partner) channel program, or those interested in enrolling in these programs.

Central- and western-region resellers can attend a workshop on Wednesday, August 11, at HP's Dallas facility, while eastern-region resellers can attend a workshop on Wednesday, August 25, at the Westin Peachtree Plaza Hotel in downtown Atlanta.
