) today announced that Stephen C. Patrick, 53, has joined its Board of Directors. Mr. Patrick will be an independent director, continuing Arrow's commitment to maintain a substantial majority of independent directors on its Board.

Mitchell, President and Chief Executive Officer of Arrow. "His broad based business experience, both domestic and international, and extensive finance background make him a valuable addition to our Board."

Mr. Patrick is Chief Financial Officer of the Colgate-Palmolive Company (NYSE:CL), a leading consumer products company with 2002 sales of $9.3 billion and a market capitalization of $31 billion, whose products in Oral, Personal, and Household Care and Pet Nutrition are manufactured and marketed in over 200 countries.

Mr. Patrick joined Colgate-Palmolive from Price Waterhouse in 1982. After various positions of increasing responsibility, Mr. Patrick was promoted to Colgate-Palmolive Company's Chief Financial Officer in 1996.

Mr. Patrick, who is a CPA (Computer Press Association, Landing, NJ) An earlier membership organization founded in 1983 that promoted excellence in computer journalism. Its annual awards honored outstanding examples in print, broadcast and electronic media. The CPA disbanded in 2000.  in the state of Connecticut, received his Bachelor's Degree from the City University of New York The City University of New York (CUNY; acronym: IPA pronunciation: [kjuni]), is the public university system of New York City.  and his Master's Degree from the University of Rhode Island History
The University was first chartered as the state's agricultural school in 1888. The site of the school was originally the Oliver Watson Farm, and the original farmhouse still lies on the campus today.
