"We see our role as the partner who brings together all the support and infrastructure our customers need to run - and grow - their business. This approach goes far beyond the typical sales-oriented focus you'll see throughout the rest of our industry."

The Support Net Division and several of its Business Partners and independent software vendors (ISVs) will be hosting the exhibit in the Solution Center at PartnerWorld. The collaborative nature of the booth serves as an example of the cooperation that exists year-round between the distributor, IBM and their mutual reseller customers.

Support Net and its partners have aligned on many new initiatives during 2002 that will be built upon in 2003. Some examples include:
-- Life Sciences: Launched in April 2002, Arrow's program is strategically aligned with IBM's Life Sciences Business Unit to help resellers tap into the lucrative life sciences IT market.

-- Linux: Announced in May 2002, Arrow's Linux initiative is a collection of business tools, education roadmaps, Web information, Linux-based ISV solutions and technical and marketing assistance, all developed specifically to aid IBM enterprise resellers in fulfilling the demand for a growing, yet stable foundation for Linux computing.

-- Cooperative Marketing: Launched in October 2002, this growing program pairs Support Net resellers with vertically focused ISVs to help resellers discover incremental IBM-centric business opportunities in strategic and growing vertical markets.

-- SMB: Arrow's Support Net Division assists its reseller customers in adding an SMB focus to their sales and marketing efforts, and is offering real and specific education and marketing programs to aid its customers in tapping the unspent IT dollars the SMB market has to offer.
