) today announced that sales for the seasonally weak third quarter are estimated to be $1.8 billion, down approximately 2% from the second quarter.

Accordingly, results from operations for the quarter ended September 30, 2002 are currently expected to be around break-even, with a likely range from a loss of $.02 per share to a gain of $.02 per share (excluding an extraordinary charge of $.12 per share associated with the previously-announced retirement of bonds due in the fourth quarter of 2003).

Arrow announced that it will report third quarter 2002 earnings on Thursday, October 24, and will host a conference call to discuss the earnings at 1:00 PM Eastern time on the same day.
