Arrow Electronics Appoints Director to Lead Enterprise Computing Solutions Government Central Program.

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- The North American Computer Products group of Arrow Electronics, Inc. (NYSE: ARW), a leading distributor of enterprise and embedded computing systems to resellers and OEM customers in North America, announced today that Skip Liesegang has been appointed director of the Enterprise Computing Solutions (ECS) Government Central Program.

As the leader of Arrow's new ECS Government Central Practice, Liesegang will manage the ECS Government Central team, drive an overarching marketing strategy, and assist all ECS selling companies in achieving and maintaining performance objectives related to government business. Liesegang will also evaluate emerging government business trends and work collaboratively with selling company executives to forge new partnerships with vendors and customers in the government and public sector.

Liesegang joins Arrow from Sun Microsystems, Inc., where he served as the director of Public Sector Channels and was responsible for channel development and managing the nationwide sales team. Within one year, Liesegang drove a 56 percent increase in channel revenue. He worked at Sun Microsystems for more than 17 years and held various sales and marketing management roles. Liesegang earned a B.S. degree from James Madison University and an MBA from Averett College.
