Arrow Electronics Announces Southeast McAfee Foundstone and Secure Content Management Product Training and Sales Courses.

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- The North American Computer Products group of Arrow Electronics, Inc. (NYSE: ARW) will host two new McAfee(R) Foundstone(R) Vulnerability Management and Secure Content Management (SCM) Technical Training and sales sessions on September 13, 14 and 15 at the Courtyard Marriott Atlanta Glenridge/Perimeter.

It enables organizations to mitigate risk by carefully balancing asset value, vulnerability severity and threat criticality. They can respond when and where it matters most, managing or eliminating threats before they affect business availability.

The McAfee SCM appliances are best-in-class, high-performance platforms that deliver protection against spyware, inappropriate Web content, phishing, spam, known viruses, worms and Trojans. Arrow has expanded its McAfee training and sales offerings after receiving an overwhelmingly positive response from McAfee solution providers to similar classes held on both the West and East coasts during the past few months. Arrow created the courses to provide attendees with deep product knowledge and informative insight surrounding vulnerability issues, and Web and e-mail security. They are free to Arrow's McAfee SecurityAlliance solution providers.

The courses offer combined lecture and lab environment to teach systems engineers and sales managers how to manage network vulnerabilities and security threats proactively, and how to gain maximum value from McAfee Foundstone Enterprise solutions and McAfee SCM appliances.

Designed to teach sales managers and sales engineers how to sell Foundstone solutions and Secure Content Management appliances successfully, the course objectives include:

--Teaching how Foundstone solutions mitigate clients' security risks, and how the SCM appliances provide Web and e-mail security.

--Teaching methods to effectively differentiate sales processes with Foundstone solutions and the SCM appliances.
