Arrogant youth should pay for crippling Cerys.

THE High Court has awarded an interim pounds 800,000 to the family of little Cerys Edwards, who suffered catastrophic injuries in a car crash.

Both Boparan and his parents have apologised, paid lip service to the Edwards family with words like "words cannot express" and "working hard to encourage insurers to reach a speedy settlement".

That's not enough. While Boparan will enjoy his life in years to come, Cerys will need nursing round the clock.

Why hasn't the Singhs visited the Edwards and made a massive financial gift?

No matter what the law says, we need to see repentance here. I would expect nothing less than that young man's working in the Third World for two or three years after his release.

But I can't see that happening, can you?
