Her lawyer, Gregory Helmer, a partner at Helmer & Friedman LLP LLP - Lower Layer Protocol , said the companies terminated the contract in June, just weeks after her manager informed them of her pregnancy. According to the suit, Watts said Reece's pregnancy prevented her from making personal appearances, traveling and "appearing in model physical condition at health and beauty shows." No damage amount was cited in the suit, but Helmer said Reece has suffered "substantial" monetary damages in lost royalties and other work she gave up during the contract period.
