The seven IFCO managers were arrested on charges alleging they conspired to transport, harbor and encourage illegal workers to reside in the United States for commercial advantage and private financial gain.

In addition, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is the largest investigative arm of the United States Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and is responsible for identifying and dismantling vulnerabilities regarding the nation's border, economic, transportation and infrastructure  agents recently conducted searches of more than 40 IFCO offices, plants and related locations.
