Arrests in drug probe.

THREE people have been arrested for drug dealing after police swooped on a pub car park in Sunderland.

The move came after police received information that a man was selling drugs out of a car boot in Doxford Park.

Officers recovered more than 2,000 blue tablets, believed to be valium, and 18 wraps of a drug believed to be cocaine.

Subsequent searches of three houses found more cocaine, blue tablets and white tablets, and nearly pounds 4,000 in cash.

A 38-year-old man, from Sunderland, has been arrested on suspicion of supplying class A drugs.

A 38-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman were held on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs.
