Arrests after raid on Brum 'brothel' SWOOP: Scantily-clad women found at massage parlour in luxury apartments.

TWO women were arrested by police following a raid on a suspected brothel operating opposite a luxury apartment block in the heart of Birmingham Birmingham, cities, United States

Officers found five scantilyclad women when they swooped on the terraced property on Branston Branston is the name of several places in England:

One man, who didn'twant to give his name, said: "Girls would often be seen in pink nurses' outfits. It was like a factory.

The three men were spoken to by police before being allowed to leave.

Two British women in their 20s were arrested on suspicion of managing a brothel. One was also held on suspicion of possession of Class A and Class B drugs.

A female Romanian national was held on immigration immigration, entrance of a person (an alien) into a new country for the purpose of establishing permanent residence. Two other Romanian women were not held.

Acting Insp Ifty Ahmed, said: "We had information about a brothel in a residential street. Women were operating there and customers paying for sexual services at the address.

"The anti-social behaviour associated with the premises was clearly a concern to residents and making their lives a misery, which is why we took the positive action."

Police officers were stationed outside the property today to let people know it had been shut down.

Officers will also now apply to the courts for a closure order to permanently shut the premises.
