Arrest Made in Fireman's Death.

TERRE HAUTE, Ind., March 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Vigo County Prosecutor Robert L. Wright, Terre Haute Police Chief George Ralston and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Special Agent in Charge Chris Sadowski have announced the arrest and charging of a second suspect, Scott D. Lesko, in the September 30, 2002 fire at Russell's Garage, Terre Haute, Indiana that resulted in the death of Captain Ralph Stott and injuries to Paramedic Barry Nicoson and Firefighter Russ Feuquay all of the Terre Haute Fire Department.

While responding to the burning auto body garage on September 30, 2002, a facade on the front of the building collapsed crushing Captain Stott. On November 19, 2002, the first suspect, Byron Layton, was charged with Murder and two counts of Arson Resulting in Bodily Injury for having set the fire. After almost 18 months of continued investigation by the Vigo County Prosecutor, Terre Haute Police Department and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives identical charges have been filed against Scott D. Lesko. Authorities arrested Mr. Lesko on the state arrest warrant March 8, 2004 without incident.
