The Tolly Group tests show that even under eight different traffic scenarios, the SPX5000 is able to step up from 500 to 64,000 concurrent users with ease -- meaning that even as the number of users scaled, latency introduced by the gateway fluctuated nominally, by 1 millisecond at most. Even at 64,000 users, the SPX5000 introduced just 2.5 milliseconds of latency, well below levels that would adversely affect IP Communications applications like voice or video that are sensitive to delay.
