ICREW ICREW Improving Coastal and Recreational Waters (Europe)  Golf fundraiser

RE Academy Course

May 7: The Real Estate Academy will hold their salesperson licencing courses at 250 West 57th Street, 20th floor, Suite 2032 New York, NY 10019. Class times are varied in order to provide as much flexibility as possible for those who are interested in entering the real estate field and have jobs or other responsibilities that may prevent them from taking the sessions during traditional hours. IREM Course

May 7: A new course covering the skills and techniques necessary to successfully manage a unique segment of the real estate market--common interest developments (planned unit developments, residential and office condominiums, stock cooperatives, and homeowners' associations)--has been developed by the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM[R]). The debut offering of "Common Interest Developments: Managing Condominium Association Properties" (CID Cid or Cid Campeador (sĭd, Span. thēth kämpāäthōr`) [Span.,=lord conqueror], d. 1099, Spanish soldier and national hero, whose real name was Rodrigo (or Ruy) Díaz de Vivar. 201) will take place from May 7-11 at IREM headquarters in the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OFREALTORS[R] building, 430 North Michigan Ave. (7th floor), in downtown Chicago. Citing actual project-cost data, this seminar will provide an overview of the current costs of constructing green building projects in the tri-state area, as compared with general construction costs. Columbia Society of RE Appraisers Course

May 11: The Columbia Society of Real Estate Appraisers, Inc. will offer a 7-hour USPAP USPAP Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice  Update Course at Koenig's Restaurant in Floral Park, NY. Registration will be at 8:30 a.m. Seminar begins promptly at 9:00 a.m. Course will be taught by Jeff Beal, a nationally certified USPAP instructor and long-time Columbia Society member.
