Arnstein & Lehr co-sponsors Chicago Insurance Forum; Melissa Bean and Optional Federal Charter proposals top agenda.


CHICAGO -- The Chicago law firm of Arnstein & Lehr LLP LLP - Lower Layer Protocol , together with other leading providers of professional services (job) professional services - A department of a supplier providing consultancy and programming manpower for the supplier's products.  to insurance companies, risk managers, and insureds, is co-sponsoring the 2007 Insurance Forum on Wednesday, November 14 in downtown Chicago. The forum provides insurance and risk management professionals with cutting-edge insight into trends in the insurance market from legal, corporate, and government viewpoints.

A major attraction in this year's forum includes the participation of Congresswoman Melissa Bean, one of the lead sponsors of legislation to establish an optional federal charter for insurers. Speaking via satellite link from the House, Bean is expected to explain the proposal and its anticipated benefits, and will be able to entertain questions from the audience.

Arnstein & Lehr Partner Mary Cannon Veed will moderate and serve as a panel member at the forum. Topics for discussion include ways businesses can use expert risk management to control their losses and insurance costs, in addition to optimizing their exposure to liability in areas such as workers' compensation workers' compensation, payment by employers for some part of the cost of injuries, or in some cases of occupational diseases, received by employees in the course of their work. , employee benefits, and product and contractual liability.
