Arnold Worldwide Wins Best of Show at Hatch Awards; Agency Honored for Best Integrated Campaign.


BOSTON -- Arnold Worldwide Arnold Worldwide is an American advertising agency, owned by the French advertising and communications holding company Havas. It is part of Arnold Worldwide Partners, a network of agencies located in 6 countries around the world. , the Boston-based advertising agency, won "Best of Show" for the fourth consecutive year at last night's 45th annual Francis W. Hatch Awards in Boston.

Arnold received the top award for its integrated marketing campaign for the launch of the Volkswagen A5 Jetta. The campaign, themed "All grown up. Sort of," was communicated through a variety of channels, including dry cleaning dry cleaning, process of cleaning fabrics without water. Special solvents and soaps are used so as not to harm fabrics and dyes that will not withstand the effects of ordinary soap and water. Along with the top award for Volkswagen, Arnold won 5 Golds, 26 Silvers, 38 Bronzes, 34 Merits, for a total of 103 awards for its TV, print and interactive work on American Legacy truth(R), Timberland, TAG, Celebrity, Royal Caribbean and Fidelity. Last year, Arnold won the top prize with a public service television ad "1200" for the American Legacy Foundation The American Legacy Foundation (ALF)[1][2][3] is a non-profit organization dedicated to preventing teen smoking and encouraging smokers to quit. .

The additional four Gold Bowls won by Arnold were: "Talons" newspaper, "Duvet" TV and the "Adult Activity Book," for Volkswagen and "8 seconds" radio spot for American Legacy Foundation's Crazyworld.

The New England Ad Club hosted the awards program at the Avalon nightclub in Boston.
